Conference Proceedings

Von 5. bis 7.10.2022 fand der openCost Expert*innenworkshop „openCost: the road to publication cost transparency“ im DESY in Hamburg statt. Dort wurden zum einen erste Projektergebnisse präsentiert, zum anderen diente der Workshop dem Wissensaustausch mit nationalen und internationalen Expert*innen auf dem Gebiet der Publikationskosten und der Kostenerfassung. Insgesamt brachten Speaker*innen aus acht verschiedenen Ländern (Deutschland, Österreich, Niederlande, England, USA, Kanada, Norwegen und Finnland) ihre Perspektiven ein und berichteten von ihren Erfahrungen. Daneben hatten die rund 40 Teilnehmenden die Möglichkeit, in verschiedenen Hands-on Labs gemeinsam an der Ausgestaltung des openCost Schemas zu arbeiten. Die Ergebnisse des Workshops wurden nun als Conference Proceedings (DOI: 10.3204/PUBDB-2023-02961) veröffentlicht.
