Nach einem Jahr intensiver Arbeit stellt das openCost Team einen ersten<strong> Entwurf f\u00fcr ein Metadatenschema<\/strong> f\u00fcr geb\u00fchrenpflichtige Zeitschriftenartikel vor. Dieser soll in einem n\u00e4chsten Schritt auch Transformationsvertr\u00e4ge und Mitgliedschaften umfassen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Ziel des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opencost.de\/projekt\/\">Projekts openCost<\/a> ist die Schaffung einer technischen Infrastruktur, mit der Publikationskosten \u00fcber standardisierte Schnittstellen und Formate frei zug\u00e4nglich abgerufen werden k\u00f6nnen. Dadurch soll eine Kostentransparenz auf institutioneller, nationaler und internationaler Ebene erm\u00f6glicht werden. In einem ersten Schritt erarbeitete das openCost-Team in Zusammenarbeit mit (inter-)nationalen Interessensvertreter*innen ein Metadatenschema. Dabei schl\u00e4gt das Projektteam eine eine <strong>xml-Repr\u00e4sentation<\/strong> vor, welche sich insbesondere f\u00fcr den Austausch \u00fcber OAI-PMH anbietet. Das Metadatenschema soll alle f\u00fcr die Publikation angefallenen Geb\u00fchren (\u201eTotal cost of Publishing\u201c) ber\u00fccksichtigen, einschlie\u00dflich der Open-Access- sowie Nicht-Open-Access-Publikationsgeb\u00fchren und Bearbeitungsgeb\u00fchren (z. B. Kosten f\u00fcr Bank\u00fcberweisungen, Kreditkarten usw.). Damit soll ein \u00dcberblick \u00fcber alle Zahlungen einer Institution (sog. Informationsbudget) m\u00f6glich werden. Au\u00dferdem erm\u00f6glicht das standardisierte, maschinenlesbare Format einen einfachen Austausch von Kostendaten weltweit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Um das Metadatenschema weiter zu verbessern, bittet das openCost Team um <strong>Feedback aus der Community<\/strong> und stellt das Schema als \u201eRequest for Comments\u201c (RFC) Dokument zur Verf\u00fcgung. OpenCost bittet um Anregungen und Kommentare bis zum 31.3.2023 als GitHub Issue oder <a href=\"mailto:opencost.info@mailman.uni-regensburg.de\">per E-Mail<\/a> \u00fcber unsere Mailingliste. Nach Ende der ersten Kommentierungsphase werden alle eingehenden Anregungen im openCost-Team diskutiert und ggf. \u00fcbernommen.
