The IRD is a comprehensive directory that provides a detailed overview of the global repository landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Targeted Search for Repositories Supporting openCost<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Repositories in the IRD can now be searched based on whether they can provide openCost metadata: In the COAR IRD\u2019s \u201cRepository Browser,\u201d repositories can be <strong>filtered<\/strong> by various criteria, including<strong> supported metadata formats<\/strong>. openCost is now also available as a selection option there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">This provides a central location to see which repositories support the openCost format. Currently, there are eleven repositories listed in the IRD. Click<a href=\"https:\/\/ird.coar-repositories.org\/browser?search=&amp;lang=en&amp;metadata_formats%5B%5D=OpenCost\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> here<\/a> to search.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The COAR International Repository Directory (IRD) now lists openCost as a metadata format.
