{"id":2154,"date":"2026-07-28T13:45:15","date_gmt":"2026-07-28T11:45:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/opencost.de\/news\/?p=2154"},"modified":"2026-07-28T13:48:33","modified_gmt":"2026-07-28T11:48:33","slug":"oa-datenpraxis-webinar-materials","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/opencost.de\/news\/en\/news\/oa-datenpraxis-webinar-materials\/","title":{"rendered":"OA Datenpraxis: Webinar Materials  Available"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">On June 11, 2026, the OA Datenpraxis project hosted the webinar \u201cTools zum Monitoring von Publikationskosten in der Open-Access-Transformation.\u201d The webinar focused on tools and workflows that can be used to track and analyze publication costs in the context of the open access transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">In brief practical presentations, speakers shared their specific experiences with various systems. The library and repository systems FOLIO, CODA, ALMA, DSpace, Output, EPrints, and MyCoRe were presented, each with a focus on their practical application in cost monitoring. Following the presentations, there was time for discussion and questions from participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">The openCost team was also represented with two presentations: Gernot Deinzer (Regensburg University Library) reported on the use of <strong>EPrints<\/strong> for monitoring, reporting, and analysis. Alexander Wagner (DESY) presented the reference implementation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/opencost.de\/news\/en\/project\/#second-project-phase\">openCost internal format<\/a> in <strong>MyCoRe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">The slides from the presentations are now available <a href=\"https:\/\/zenodo.org\/records\/20795894\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>, and the recording of the presentations can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/av.tib.eu\/media\/73613\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.
