{"id":1761,"date":"2025-08-25T16:25:26","date_gmt":"2025-08-25T14:25:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.opencost.de\/?p=1761"},"modified":"2025-08-25T16:26:18","modified_gmt":"2025-08-25T14:26:18","slug":"openapc-data-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/opencost.de\/news\/en\/news\/openapc-data-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cOpen Access Publication Funding\u201d: Data from 2023 processed in OpenAPC"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the DFG program <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dfg.de\/en\/research-funding\/funding-opportunities\/programmes\/infrastructure\/lis\/funding-opportunities\/open-access-publication-funding\">\u201cOpen Access Publication Funding\u201d<\/a> (OAPK), participating institutions provide publication cost data to the Central Library of Forschungszentrum J\u00fclich, which is responsible for monitoring. The institutions providing the data can also agree to the data being passed on to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.openapc.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">OpenAPC<\/a>. This data set has now been successfully transmitted to OpenAPC in openCost format <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opencost.de\/en\/news\/gold-oa-data-processed\/\">for the second time<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All <strong>gold OA data<\/strong> from the OAPK reporting year 2023 has now been processed in OpenAPC. The publication cost data reported for 2023 for the hybrid DEAL journals was transmitted from J\u00fclich to OpenAPC in a fully automated process for the first time. OpenAPC has also evaluated and processed the <strong>hybrid DEAL data<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OAPK 2023: The Gold OA data transmitted by FZ J\u00fclich and the
