The openCost team is pleased to present a draft of another metadata schema to the community for discussion. In a first step, the openCost team worked with (inter)national experts to develop a metadata schema for fee-based, individual articles. Now the openCost schema also includes transformative agreements and memberships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To further improve the published metadata schema, the openCost team is inviting feedback from the community until Oct 15 2023<\/strong> as a GitHub Issue or via E-Mail. After the end of that comment period, all incoming suggestions will be discussed by the openCost team and, where required, incorporated into the metadata schema. Please send us a sample invoice for this purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Of course, there will be the opportunity for an exchange with the project team. First, openCost will be represented at this year\u2019s Open Access Days<\/a>. On Wednesday, Sept 27 2023, openCost will report on its current work, progress as well as new project results in the presentation \u201cTransparent publishing with openCost: news on the technical cost data infrastructure\u201d. After the presentation there will be enough time for discussion with the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, the openCost team will host an online event via Zoom <\/strong>again to discuss the metadata schema for transformative agreements and memberships with the community.
